WELCOME

Morang South Primary School is located in the Greater Melbourne suburb of South Morang and has an enrolment of 390 – 420 students. At our school, we provide a nurturing and supportive learning community, though partnerships between our teachers, parents and students. We value diversity and strive for excellence. We are steadfast in our determination to provide a high quality education in a collaborative, caring and safe environment, where our children are immersed in teaching programs that help them to reach their full potential. Our school prides itself on its high profile with regard to student connectedness, a strong sense of community and provision of a comprehensive curriculum which is both intellectually engaging and building of self awareness.

The school setting, nestled amongst the trees, provides students with sheltered spaces for both learning and play. Morang South is privileged with modern facilities including; a purpose built arts room, a well stocked library, two gymnasiums and performing arts spaces, and a community centre that supports an Out of School Hours Care program, and other school and community events.

Student wellbeing is a high priority for all members of the school community. We are a values based school. The Morang South Primary School values of respect, learning, trust, honesty, tolerance, caring and cooperation are deeply embedded in our practice and code of cooperation. We believe strongly in developing our students sense of personal and communal responsibility as learners and participants in the broader community.
